111-8-63-.20(8) Medication Skills Competency Determinations. Unlicensed staff who are not certified as medication aides providing assistance with or supervision of self-administered medications must demonstrate when hired and at least,annually thereafter,the necessary skills to perform the medication tasks assigned competently by completing skills competency checklists before appropriately trained community staff.
